On the occasion of Liberation Day, we invite you to immerse yourself in the Lecco of the years 1943-1945, told through the voices and glances of those who experienced firsthand the Lecco Resistance.
Ordinary men and women, protagonists of often difficult and courageous choices, will accompany participants on a journey that weaves together personal stories and major events of World War II.
What emerges is a vivid fresco of daily life in those years: made up of fears, hopes, small gestures of opposition and extraordinary evidence of resilience.
A journey through time that comes to life thanks to the documents, testimonies and historical sources preserved in the collections of the Historical Museum of Palazzo Belgiojoso, custodians of memories still capable of speaking to us today.
