Ritratti in musica oggi
From October 17 to December 1, 2025, the Stanza della Musica (Music Room) of the Villa Bernasconi museum hosts the photographic exhibition Ritratti in Musica Oggi (Portraits in Music Today), promoted by the Municipality of Cernobbio.
The project, conceived by Como-based photoreporter and editor Carlo Pozzoni, features twelve portraits of contemporary musicians, dancers, and singers who have "inhabited" Villa Bernasconi with their arts, telling their own connection with the villa through the image and a brief written story.
Among the protagonists: Fabio Borghetti, Giulia Cavicchioni and the Baule dei Suoni, Gigliola Foglia, Matteo Giudici, Sergio Guatterini, Daniela Morittu with the students of the harp course, Floraleda Sacchi, Victoria Saldarini, Ivanna Speranza, Monica Zhang, and the music teachers from the Don Umberto Marmori school in Cernobbio — Andrea Colombo, Aldo Guarisco, Chiara Imbasciati, Antonietta Loffredo, Simone Mambretti, Rossella Rizzuto, Lorenzo Peccedi, and Alessio Pedretti.
Special guest: Davide Bernasconi, known as Van De Sfroos, who in his story recalls the emotion of reading his own full name on the facade of the Cernobbio kindergarten as a child.
Completing the experience is a playlist of songs performed or composed inspired by the villa, and projected images of the historical photographs donated to the museum in 2023 by the Arte Nova Foundation, coming from the exhibition Ritratti in musica tra Ottocento e Novecento (Portraits in Music between the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries), which documented the fashion of the era for posing with musical instruments.
The public is invited to actively participate by sharing their own portrait with the hashtag #ritrattinmusicaoggi.
