Pittura latente
Mimmo Iacopino's solo exhibition; the artist does not use the classic tools of the trade such as brushes and tubes of color, but creates his own personal palette by drawing on tailors' meters, sewing braids, satin or velvet ribbons, mouliné threads or rat tails and, the latest finds, bingo numbers, dominoes and queue-eliminating tickets. All always and strictly on canvas.
Opening Saturday, Feb. 15, 6:30 p.m.Tuesday through Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m., other times by appointment.
