2:30 p.m. at the Monte Barro Hermitage Auditorium: “Reflections on 40 Years of Excavations and Research at Monte Barro”—a multi-voiced account covering archaeology, discoveries, and future prospects;
3:30 p.m.: Meet at Piazzale Alpini: guided tour of the Piani di Barra;
3:30 p.m.: Meet at Piazzale Alpini: “Make Your Own Fibula”: hands-on workshop;
5:30 p.m. Meet in front of the Archaeological Museum: guided tour of the Archaeological Museum (MAB);
7:00 p.m. at the Eremo Monte Barro Restaurant: “Gothic Dinner”: the “Tower Sentinel’s Platter” with a choice of traditional or vegetarian options, cheeses, traditional desserts, mead, and much more;
9:00 PM at the Grande Edificio in Piani di Barra: candlelit theater performance.
LOCATION: Piazzale Alpini (3 km from Galbiate, along the road leading up to the Hermitage); parking is limited. You may also park in Fornace, which is about a ten-minute walk uphill, or at the Hermitage, which is a short walk downhill
