La morte di Archimede
A recital by and starring Giulio Valentini. Archimedes’ last words, addressed to the Roman soldier who was about to kill him, were: “Noli turbare circulos meos,” “Do not disturb my circles.” We will relive the story of one of the greatest scientists and physicists of antiquity, beginning in 212 B.C., the year of the Roman sacking of Syracuse. From the historical context and the political reality of Sicily during that period, we will explore the life and inventions of the scientist who “with a single fulcrum lifted the world.”
COST: single ticket €10.00; children under 14 €5.00.
