A journey through the history of our understanding of light, from the Greeks to the present day: a dialogue that alternates between scientific explanations and literary passages, with irony and poetry, exploring experiments in diffraction and refraction, drawing inspiration from Newton’s experimentum crucis. The discovery of the nature of light involved hypotheses, debates, and bitter battles. Every dawn of new discoveries was followed by dark moments of misunderstanding: and there was evening, and there was morning.
