What can a simple bone tell us? Much more than we imagine!
Let’s become little detectives of the past: through bones, artifacts, and animal remains, we’ll discover how archaeozoology allows us to reconstruct the lives of ancient communities—from their diets to their daily activities, from their environment to their ancient rituals.
During our visit to the Natural History Museum and the Archaeological Museum, we’ll take a close look at the various species in the zoological and osteological sections and trace their evolution over time. We’ll also discover how animal bones, in addition to telling the story of the past, could be turned into tools and everyday objects. A fascinating and surprising journey to learn how to interpret the traces of the past and discover how even the smallest objects can hold a great story!
Activity for children ages 8 to 12.

COST: €10.00 per participating child; €15.00 per pair of siblings; free for accompanying adults. Free admission to Palazzo Belgiojoso for all participants. Reservations required via email or phone.
