Young Sophie, 18, works tirelessly in the hat boutique that, before he died, belonged to her father. During one of her rare outings in town, she meets Howl the Magician. Howl is very charming, but he does not have much character... Misunderstanding their relationship, a witch casts a terrible spell on Sophie and turns her into a 90-year-old woman.
